~One To Three~

Greetings for July’s The Squirrel Chase.com’s One-to-Three Photo Processing Challenge. I have submitted the following post-edit processed photos. Using Lightroom, Photoshop, Topaz, and adjustments thereto, the output is the result you see below. I took a little fantasy theme this time around a photo to one of the doors to my shed.

The Original Photo Of the Shed’s Front door above.
Going into both PS and a previous preset of my own to make a pencil sketch, the photo worked itself to this outcome. It is also my favorite and made me want to play on for other fantasy-like drawings of the photos.
Here I played with more color saturated and contrast. That is a go-to for these fun post edits. After those edits, Topaz was the next stop for one of their presets.
I tried to give the photo a little of a scary look but I do need more practice in PS under the brushes and layers. So I think this photo will eventually be a part of discovering those abilities. I do like the way it came out though. I just used the Topaz oil painting preset and went under the file tab and used the basics to tweek it with a couple of layers of colors, contrast, and shadows for some fun and punch.

If anyone just loves to create in post processing shoot on over to The Squirrel Chase.com once a month for this fun bit of sharing artful editing in post.

Until next month when three more renditions come, thanks for stopping in.

    1. Thanks! It has been a nice little place to go and relax. No cell up there, so I can just wipe my feet and plop 🙂

      1. You’re welcome. I have fun with photo editing too but usually don’t take the time to use the better editing programs. Used to have light room, now I have gimp which is good but usually don’t do more than crop, lighten, minimal color adjustment and clarity, sometimes turn them into greyscale.
