I took a few photos of an Amaryllis I bought a few weeks ago. It broke the bloom a couple of days ago and is just so pretty. This happened to be a ‘no water’ bulb so I was excited to see how it turned out and yes, it bloomed beautifully.
Taken with Canon 5d Mark III with a Canon 100mm lens this beauty was a perfect subject. The center photo, however, was taken with a tilt lens and you can see that on the bloom in the background.
The colors are amazing. From reds, magentas, greens, oranges, purples… it is a combination of beauty and set out against a background of white it really stood out.
Just a little pretty for the eyes. Hope you enjoyed.
