~One To Three~

Welcome to The Squirrel Chase.com’s One-to-Three Photo Processing Challenge for August 1, 2022. I am a tad late here for this, but I have submitted the following three post-edit-processed photographs to share in the challenge. Using phone apps with adjustments thereto the outputs are the results you see below.

For this month a view from the dock of the bay which I am really missing this moment as it turned from the beautiful 70s to 100s in my travels these past few days.

Jack London Square view of Alameda, CA
Exposure lift to a whiter vignette on a phone app. I did this twice by lifting the exposure to mute it. I wanted then to just added a vignette to soften the edges for a foggier-edged-out appearance.
A de-saturation of the photo brought it to this. This is a favorite move I use often and is quick to use. For those that don’t know, just move the saturation button all the way to zero and that can be done in-camera as well but depending, Lightroom will reverse that to color. I generally use in-camera and avoid the uploads to lightroom because again, in-camera contrasts can be adjusted so your post-edits can be shortened or none at all.
This is where the apps can be a lot of fun and come into play more. With layers, a screen, and filters used this is the outcome of a Photoshop phone app.

With that, if anyone just loves to create in post-processing, shoot on over to The Squirrel Chase.com once a month for this fun bit of sharing artful editing in post.

Until next month when three more renditions come, thanks for stopping in.
