Tis raining and the raindrops are dancing in the garden. They are the perfect little subjects and without the rain boots on the camera and I stepped out for a few moments until my slippers soaked through for this week’s post for Macro Monday.
These are just a few, however they are my favorites because of the lighting and feel of the photos. The little raindrops are interesting to shoot. The world is upside down in their little water droplets *maybe they know something we should.*
The RF 100mm lens has a spherical aberration control ring. That allows me to take ‘dreamy’ photos in-camera and without any post editing. That’s my thing and having that perk added to this particular lens is great for those moments of whisper shots.
The feature photo depicts more of that ‘dreamy’ look even though taken close, it is set back a tad more for the feel of the photograph and is a good example of the spherical aberration control ring in use. I think I just like the leaves dancing about.
Have a wonderful day. I hope you enjoyed today’s picks for Macro Monday.
Document the moments and enjoy the storytelling of it.
Til next time,

Beautiful water droplets.
Thank you Pepper!
Your raindrops are perfect, with their little upside-down view of the world, and I love that dreamy effect!
Thank you. They seem to be the perfect subjects for that lens.
We have noticed how some people don’t see what’s right in front of them, even the wonders all around.
Agree. Moving too fast and not wondering about things.
Some excellent shots. I do love water drop macros. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you 🙂
I have a real soft spot for photos of raindrops, so, these are a delight! Thank you! 🙂
I do too. I know it can be repetitive, however, the rain doesn’t last long and I love the water dripping off the plants.
🙂
Yes, me too!
Very beautiful photos, Kathleen Jennette! ❤️ Stay dry, it’s raining in Vegas too. It was sunny and 61 yesterday, rain, and just 45 for the high today which sucks.
