I totally understand, Kathleen Jennette. The paved country road I lived off of was once very silent, but these days you have tractor/trailers and cars blasting down it regardless of the I-69 freeway being just north of my place. Jerks! The speed limit is 55 in that area but I know for sure they go much faster, and there is a small swamp nearby, so your chances of hitting a deer are high. I hit one nearby in 1993, it destroyed the front of my pickup!

Indeed! The area around my home is rarely that peaceful because of the cars and motorcycles.

It’s suppose to be that way here but people have found the back road to the city. It’s horrible.
