~One To Three~

Welcome to The Squirrel Chase.com’s One-to-Three Photo Processing Challenge for February 1, 2022. I have submitted the following three post-edit-processed photographs to share in the challenge. Once again, using Topaz and Photoshop with adjustments thereto, the outputs are the results you see below.

I am using a Tulip for this month’s venture into using apps for post-editing.

The Original

The above original was shot with my Canon 5D Mark III with the Lensbaby Velvet 56 lens. This photo is taken straight from the camera and no edits which is why I love to use art lenses these days.

This photo edit was in the Topaz software and then into Lightroom. Topaz using the Ametrine at 53% then adjustments in Lightroom until I liked it.

Here the photo is in the Bleach Stain filter then again, adjusting in Lightroom.

This is called Under the Sea. I think it has an ethereal look of being under the blue green waters of the ocean. So, I used it here with again, adjustments thereto.

My personal favorite is the first one. Purple kind of gets me these days and I liked the density of the bold color after playing with it until feeling good about it.

With that, if anyone just loves to create in post-processing, shoot on over to The Squirrel Chase.com once a month for this fun bit of sharing artful editing in post.

Until next month when three more renditions come, thanks for stopping in.

  6. Fun stuff. Have you tried experimenting using blending options – blend-if sliders on color masks in Photoshop to only apply the effect to mid-tones or lights or darks? I learned about how to do that at F64 Elite.

Oh yes Sherry, I play with Photoshop all the time and do composites. It is a whole lot of fun and I can get lost in all of it. I haven’t looked into F64 Elite and thank you for the reference. I will indeed check that out! Thank you 🙂
