Beautiful shots! I’ve never heard a sliver of moon like that called a toenail – I can see why but it’s not a very beautiful name for something so lovely!
Hi, Well… unless you knew my father you wouldn’t hear of that name. The story is: He when the moon was this shape he would take us out and show us. This shape was the “toenail”. He was a jokester.
