It has been busy here with two sets of winds and then cleaning up. I haven’t had much time to even focus on normal chores let alone the focus on the camera. However, yesterday I went out to get some Autumn shots for Denzil’s Autumn Colours theme and I still was distracted. I picked two photos, one which I played with a bit with intentional blur and then the berries below. I thought I better get something up before the next challenge arises, but it was a little relief and a joy to just shoot even for a bit.

These are my reminders that the holidays are just around the corner. I do pick them and spread them around in vases and anywhere that needs sprucing up with the red color. They came fast this year and a little darker but still look good outside where really nothing is growing right now. They are my natural sign of the changing season.

This I titled as “The Path”. It was done with slight movement of the camera and then adding a bit of vibrance to it in Lightroom.
I always find it mind boggling on how many I delete just to get the one that meets my OK. One would think that all the blurry pics would do just fine, but I have a problem with that. Instead, I torture myself with wonderful fun making it blurry my way. Such is life with a camera,
Anyway, hope you all are enjoying Autumn and looking forward to Winter as I am. We are to get a few days of rain which is always welcome here in So. Cal.
Til next time,

Excellent blurs on your own terms!
Thank you so much Robert. Yes, we have to, must, be our own. Otherwise, it is not any fun.
Lovely photos, Kathleen. I especially liked the ICM photo. So mesmerizing!
Thank you, sometimes I wish I could just walk into a blur 😉
I love that ICM shot, so evocative of autumn!
Thank you so much. I’m glad you like it!
love the impressionist-esque captures! i love those bright autumn days that bring out the red yellow and orange and there was definitely all that and more with these shots
Thank you, I agree, the fall days with all the colors are my favorites. Thank you so much for the nice compliments.
That is a very interesting mass of blurs. The colors are somewhat muted like a painting. Thank you for sharing. 🙂
Thank you, it really surprised me how much more the colors came out. Usually they blend, but this one, worked a tad differently. I hope to get another one.
