~A Double Look~

~A Double Look~

Its Thursday Blursday and the camera took me to the double exposure on the Canon R6. Having two of the R systems, I decided to dedicate the R6 to using the Lensbaby art lenses. Since moving to the R systems my older lenses to don’t fit on the cameras without using an adapter other than the Trio lens. All of them require the adapter including my past Canon lenses for the R6 and R5 so that is why I use just one camera now for the Lensbabys *Call me lazy*.

Below, the Santa Fairy was exposed on the first shot then the camera was placed over the ornament and shot again.

All photos here were taken with Lensbaby Sol 45 attached with the Canon RF Adapter and using the in-camera multiple exposure setting. Even though the camera can go to 9, I used just 2. You can see a floral ornament faintly to the right of the green ornament below for the double take.

Below is another Santa *I’m a bit addicted to Christmas Deco*.
Again, he is double exposed. First, I shot the Santa photo then shot a chandelier over him for this look.

The ‘Featured Image’ is a Nutcracker. I did an ICM on the first take then shot a second photo over the little wooden soldier. It turned out a bit different than I thought, but I liked the way it turned out… who knew! *The love of the camera surprise! *

I am really enjoying the Blursdays. Sometimes I don’t get out of the house and because of that, I have to find new solutions, so I won’t go crazy. But being a big big fan of Edmund Teske and knowing him from many years ago, has inspired me to go out of norm for not just sanity’s sake but for creative sake.

Thanks for stopping in.

Til next time…

Thanks so much John. Sorry for the late reply I seem to have trouble staying close to the computer with all the lights and such!

I particularly like the wide-eyed Santa who appears to be looking out from an ornament. 🙂

Thank you Nancy, it was a last thought to do and he seems happy in that orb 🙂

I’m not at all technical and can’t actually use my new Canon and its kit lens properly. But liking the Christmas blursday images.

Thank you. It’s easier than it looks. You can go a long way on a kit lens. I still use mine at times. Maybe just set it at Auto until you get used to it. Just have fun. 😊
