In Camera Movement Photo Challenge.

Thursday’s Blursday’s (In Camera Movement Photo Challenge) is here.

Since this ICMPC post is a first for Tales to host, I thought I would post my first circle movement made using ICM as our first ICMPC blog post.  I have tried and tried to get a good circle in through ICM and I think it finally worked for these shots.

This was a little work for me since my hands are small and the circle movement was just not doing it for me. I finally did a twist to one side and then to the other.

I was surprised to see another lone rose on a wall, so it got snapped too. This time it was a slight movement, and I liked the way it turned out with a little water drop on the petal.

This is a geranium plant. The center leaves have a slight focus blended with the outer swirls which took a bit to get. I takes me quite a few shots to get the picture the way I am satisfied with.

Although this is a bit of a different ICM that I normally shoot, I am happy with the three photos posted this round as a new effect. As you all now know (if you are doing this) it takes quite a few shots to be satisfied – at least it does for me, and I really enjoy those moments with the camera. The other beauty about ICM is that it is all in the eye of the photographer.

**Remember don’t forget to pingback or trackback in your post to this post so we can get to you and check your photos out. Keep in mind that pingbacks should be linked to your post and not to your main blog. It is hard sometimes to try and find the challenge post if not linked right.

There we go. I am happy with these final photos here and I am looking forward to seeing yours!

Til the next ICMPC…

Thank you for your kind words, Kathleen. I like that the challenge is once a month. It gives viewers time to create something for it.

Hi Kathleen! I especially liked the lush green landscape shot 🙂 and of course, I’m a sucker for the pastel nuances of a rose – the ICM just brings it out even more!

Enjoy your evening and the rest of the week!

Your first image showing a circle movement looks like it’s being viewed through the bottom of a drinking glass. Interesting effect! 🙂

I was surprised and thought the same thing, Nancy. I got lucky on that. Thanks for stopping in 🙂
