~The Maple Tree~

~The Maple Tree~

I previously posted a rain drop from the Maple tree for Macro Monday. Today I am posting the rest of the images taken from that day for a creative blur moment. This tree came from a tiny little one-inch root in the ground that I picked from the garden of a house that I had before. It grew to my surprise, and it is one of the prettiest in colors when in full bloom.

I favor the ethereal look and feel of an image. Taking the saturation down from the image gave out a web of twists and turns without the disturbance of the background color.

These three emphasized the importance of the drop with the blur of the lens. They definitely do have a moody look and I guess you could say it has become a signature feel to my images.

The tree was full of drops as the rain was very heavy for a couple of days. The Spring is coming, and you can see some of the pre-budding already. I am looking forward to seeing those colors come out but still, I am enjoying the colder days.

Til next time,

Lulu: “Our Dada says they used to have many giant maple trees on their property when they lived in New York. I have never seen a forest full of maple trees but I bet it smells wonderful!”
