Having the Hummers around now for a few weeks has made them feel a bit more familiar and less skittish around me. Here is a little one on the railing waiting for the feeder to be replenished. The header image is when he just started to take flight.
It’s good to see them daily and I think they can be called my kids now.

Beautiful – just saw the first one in our yard today!
Yay! I think in a week or two we will see warmer weather and bunches of little birdies. Then the heat… Ugh
