We are in the third month of the In Camera Movement Photo Challenge with this post. (#ICMPC). Again, anyone can join in. We don’t have strict rules except for one, the movement has to be in camera and not through any software, however you can use software to further your colors, cropping etc. Just not the movement. Any photo or photos in ICM are yours to post with a pingback so we can all see. For myself, in-camera is the “going out of the box” for my photography and creativeness. If you need to read more on the challenge, just click the tab above in the menu for more info. Onwards…
Here is something a bit different. Yes, this is in-camera, but it is also a double exposure. First, I shot an in-camera movement of the background then while being in-camera a double exposure of the pansy was shot which was not an in-camera movement. On my Canon R5 I can shoot up to 9 exposures. This was 2. I am not sure of the other brands, but I am assuming that Nikon may be the same although maybe someone can shout that out.

While on the back hill in the yard and just doing a flick of a movement of the wrist, this came out. I liked the movement of the wall of ivy and the color reminds me of old Early California painting colors, a style which I love and cannot paint if I was paid a million dollars. My cousin however can paint this style beautifully and I truly envy that talent.

Below is a geranium flower. Moving three different ways and turned sideways, the first one depicts that movement. The second and third movements are slight turns so that the flower can still be seen.

In black and white, the header image of a Japanese Boxwood took on a swirly look and the black of the background looked more definitive with the lighter tones of the plant.

And there is #3 ICMPC. We have another session coming up on May 16th and hope more can join in. I am inspired by many others that are not on here that I peep into, and I thank you for checking in. I am determined to go on throughout this year and since it is only once a month it takes pressure off of the immediate posting to do other things. Hope you are well and thank you.
Til next time…
Kathleen Jennette.

The neutral colors in your photos really feel the forest wood. I see those photos on a wall in a great room. They are very subtle and very soothing to view. Beautiful shots. Thank you for joining in on the passion for ICM 🙂
Very beautiful photos, Kathleen! ❤️😊
Thank you John, I hope you are doing well there 🙂
You’re welcome and I am doing great! Thanks, Kathleen. ❤️
Really effective, especially the shot of that wall!
Thank you Sarah, I appreciate your comments on it. 🙂
Beautiful photos, Kathleen. I loved the idea of ICM in a double exposure. That is something I have not tried and will experiment with it.
It hit me at the last thought to try it also. It was fun to do. Thank you😁
Here is my entry for this month:

You don’t need a paintbrush if you can create art like this! 🙂
Oh thank to so much, that’s so nice of you to say! 😄
Fantastic pictures!
Thank you Deborah 😊
