Hello and Welcome to #8 of our ICMPC. A photo challenge that encompasses in-camera movement for a creative look at photography. Rules are above under the ICMPC tab. Anyone is welcome to join in. Don’t forget to do a ping back.
What a whirlwind this month has already been. We had a lot of heat and fires. My small photo exhibit was in the middle of it. We had a break of nice weather just in time for today’s ICMPC. Being MIA on the blog had a lot to do with the conditions. There is a light now at the end of the tunnel, as they say.

I had fun with this photo in Lightroom using gradients. Since it is getting on to Fall/Autumn/Halloween this outcome suited the season ahead of us. The one on top is a gradient vignette and the bottom is the photo from in-camera.

I am looking forward to seeing those ICMs from participants. Don’t forget that ping-back or I won’t know if you joined in. I do get back to all of you. I hope you enjoyed this month’s ICMPC. The creative aspect of ICM is endless and inspiring. Have a whirl with it and enjoy using the camera in a fun way. There is no wrong or right, it is what you feel when shooting, and being creative is the basis.
Til next time.

Thank you Roland, I very much enjoyed your image for this month’s ICMPC of the station. I have been wanting to shoot a subway but we don’t have much of them here in So. California so you made my day with that shot!
I like the picturesque mood of your photos

I’m glad I found your blog, again! I was away from blogging for 5 years, now I’m back and happy to see that you are blogging! Greetings from Latvia!
Welcome back! Sometimes we just need a good break. Looks like life has been good. 🙂
Life is Life 🙂 Been busy and tired… and still am, just setting priorities 🙂

Java Bean: “Ayyy, that looks like a great set of trees to go sniffing! Thank you for the birthday wishes!”
Trees are made for my four legged friends. 🙂 Mr. Murray loved them and I know you would too! You are so welcome Beans!!
I love the moods you created in these photos. Great work! Now, I need to get my thinking cap on and work on a response.
Thanks Egidio! I am eager to see what you come up with this time!
Kathleen, I just posted my entry for this month. I think I went the opposite direction of your heavenly/ethereal post.

Yes, you sure did however what a couple of great shots! Trailing really gets me good with the vortex going right into the subject. Great lighting with the both of them. ICM goes with the creative mind of the person taking the photo, they are all different and your techinique using the tripod to easily adjust the lens was the key. Thank you for joining in Egidio!
Lovely, very ethereal, Kathleen! I’m glad that the fires have stayed away from your home. We have had tons of smoke fog in the valley from the California fires. Children were kept indoors at schools for recess too due to the poor air quality.
Us too, but the fire was just over our hill and the smoke was horrid. We wore masks and evacs were everywhere once again…
Oh my gosh, I’m glad the fire didn’t reach your home! 🙏🏻❤️ It’s weird how there now seems to be a Fire Season. Terrible.
That’s a dynamic image of the clouds hovering over the trees. It appears to be raining. 🙂
It isn’t raining yet, however those clouds were spectacular and needed. We got a low grade sprinkle from them and the fire crews could use it 🙂
