~Rains & San Francisco~

~Rains & San Francisco~

I finally got the green light to get out and about. I decided that a few hours in the car to San Francisco were in order. Despite the rain, I couldn’t resist taking a few walks and capturing the mood of the day. I brought along the Leica Q3 and my iPhone and ended up shooting quite a bit. Here are just a few for Monochrome Monday.

Serious Walkers
I love the rain and the streets of San Francisco

I really enjoyed both of the ladies featured below. Still, Cowgirl in the City might just be my favorite from this little series.

Cowgirl In The City

I’m still limited in how much I can walk, so my outings were brief—but I still managed to take about a thousand photos this weekend. It feels great to be behind the camera again and up and about some.

Til next time,

Glad you are ‘back in the saddle’ again. 🙂 The cowgirl reminds me of the viral ‘Arina’: https://youtube.com/shorts/oFN3gEs4ZXY?si=7ELeOzx8vPnV4OQK A tall drink of water!

Ha ha! I just watched that. She was so cute to see walking in S.F.

I’m glad that you are now able to get out and about, Kathleen! Yay! Excellent grayscale photos, the cowgirl is so tall!

I looked at the Leicia brand, they are too costly for me the amateur photographer. 😂 Be well.

Thanks John, yes they sure are pricey. Took me awhile to date up for them, but I’m glad. I think it was worth the moolah.

It’s always nice to see, what I would call, simple street scenes done so well. Actually there’s nothing simple about them, which is why they are so good.

Glad you’re getting out. Been there and a camera in hand is a great medicine.

Thank you so much for the compliment. The streets there are full of wonderful shots. I just wish I could have outlasted a bit more. The rain helped.
