I am not afraid of spiders but, if I can avoid them I certainly will. This guy is a big one. Finally, I have a photo for Denzil’s Nature Photo Challenge of Spiders and their webs.

We do get a load of spiders here and since the weather has been cooky many webs have been destroyed by my hat. I focused on this guy and his intricate artwork for this challenge using the Canon R5 and 70-200mmR Lens.

It realized I was there and scooted off the web to the string connecting it. They sure do get these up fast. It was not there this morning, and it was a large one strung between two umbrellas.
I think up close they are pretty amazing pieces of architecture.
Til next time.

It is, and it’s not Jolly!
Thanks for conquering your avoidance response and taking these fantastic shots!
Thank you, Denzil. My hat is the key weapon of protection these days. Heads up!
Too creepy for me, Kathleen! 💀
It is a creepy one. I didn’t go to close…LOL.
Just be sure it’s not a Brown Recluse. Yikes!
