Here we are at the second round of ICMPC. Anyone can join in. We don’t have strict rules except for one, the movement has to be In Camera and not through any software. If you need to read more on it, just click the tab above for more info.
So, this time around I went into the canyon.
The first set of photos of the canyon took on a milder look by building up the background with the movement side to side. The colors turned a bit softer also with the time of day. Below are 3 more shots of this group.
Again, side to side was the mantra for the outcome which included a couple of the trees.
The in-camera monochrome setting was used for the above shot then changed to standard for the below photo. The two were taken in the same spot with added up and down movement.
Some people who journey into ICM have created some beautiful results and have wonderful exhibits. The realm of creativity seems endless, and I never cease to be inspired. Egidio of Through Brazilian Eyes participated the last round and has some beautiful photographs on his site. I encourage all to visit it and see the gorgeous photographs he has taken.
I hope we get some more participation this month. Remember you have the whole month to not rush and just have fun. This is what it is all about. I read lately that going back into being a beginner is helpful to get out of the strict shell of limits. Just be free. I like that and I think it pertains to ICM. There are no mistakes.
Til next time…

Oh my-this looks like a wind storm! 🙂
It wasn’t that day but it sure is today Nancy. We got some good gusts 75 MPH all night and this morning. Lost a fence and the neighbor lost a tree. I will be glad when it dies down. Ugh…
Wow-hold on to your hat!
Yes!
Kathleen, these are gorgeous. The monochrome is a great image, but my favorites are the in the canyon set. The soft hues were perfect! Thanks for the shout-out about my site. I’ll submit an entry later today (hopefully).
Thank you Egidio, and you are welcome. I’m looking forward to seeing your art works.
Kathleen, I just posted my entry:

You have stunning photos of the trees and the ICM is just so impressionistic, and so very beautiful with the colors. I very much like your black and white Aspens shot. Gorgeous! Thank you so much for participating this month, I always love to look at your photos, they are very inspiring.
Beautiful effects – I like the way it softens the landscape 🙂
Thank you, the painterly feel is a favorite of mine.
