It doesn’t seem like we have done four of these already, but here we are with #4 of the In-Camera Movement Photo Challenge (#ICMPC). Keep in mind, you can use any camera, you can use photoshop/software to enhance colors and crop, etc., however you cannot use an app to create the movement.

With this #4 challenge I am having a bit of fun using the cell phone camera’s capabilities to achieve different looks of ICM.   Here’s how I used my phone.

Windows at Hever Castle, UK

Using the Lightroom camera phone app I set it on Pro then adjusted the shutter speed and snapped away with a flick of the wrist.  It was easy to use in public and be a bit discreet without a large camera in hand.  I did, however miss that and probably won’t use the cell much for ICM, but sometimes convenience overrides the moment.

If you like ICM, inspire me.  Don’t forget to do a ping back if you join in.

See you on next months ICMPC.

Great pictures! I like the window series, especially the first one without a window frame.

I feel like I want to just cover-up in you beach “blanket” photographs! They are very soothing. One of the things I like so much about ICM is the mood that the photograph depicts. Thank you for joining us 🙂

In your post you describe ICM brilliantly in that we never know what we get until we see the result. That is the reason I think we that do this type of photography and have so much fun with it. Your Levitating photo is my favorite so far and you have a great talent in this. Thank you for joining in!

Kathleen, I loved the windows experiment with a cell phone. I never think about using Lightroom on my Android, but it is something to keep in mind. All ICM photos are so creative, but Hever Castle really got my full attention. The opening angles toward the top of the frame are amazing. Great post! I’ll work on mine and post it in the next couple of days.

Thanks so much Egidio, it was a fun experiment with the cell and I learned a lot more on how to use the phone. I had no idea of the perks it had so I used it for indiscreet shots and I like it for convenience.

This image resembles a fantasy city with a green space in the foreground. Interesting blend of colors! 🙂

It reminded me of Oz too! Thank you, Nancy 🙂

They are beautiful, Kathleen! I wish I could see the UK, a bit like going home in terms of our shared history. ❤️🇬🇧🇺🇸

Indeed it is. I have wasted no time except for one day with a cold… planes, yuk.

That’s a long flight! The UK is 8 hours ahead of us.
