~Macro Flowers~

I have been MIA here for a bit, but with a good excuse, I just came back from a much-needed vacay in the UK for a few weeks. I have so many photos I am not even looking at them right now. I will eventually get to them, but in the meantime my own garden bloomed while I was gone and these popped up and again, I don’t remember seeding them but here they are!

Canon R5, 24-240mm,

What a pretty surprise to see this one and only flower pop up. All alone in the white rose garden the yellow stands out and says, “here I am”.

I am a little late in the day for a Macro Monday but here I am with jet lag and my body timing is completely off. I am posting this for FOTD also at Cee’s.

Even with the swirls of spider webs and bugs, they had a nice character that any garden brings to the floral community. I think I will find more of these seeds and plant them. They seem to be hardy and work well here from what I have seen.

We have what we call in California June gloom here, but again, I like the cooler weather, so it isn’t gloomy for this one. The heat is nearing and has arrived in the desert already. I am not looking forward to that, but Autumn will come then happiness all over again. Such is Nature.

Hope all has been well with you.

Til next time…

You are so right; they are the first flowers I see right now. I hope they keep on blooming :). Thank you Nancy!

Beautiful photos, Kathleen! ❤️ The UK is 8 hours ahead of Pacific time I think, I hope your jet lag goes away soon. I want to go there so much! June Gloom? That’s a new one.

Thank you John, yes, its 8 hours but coming back hit us more than getting there. June gloom has been around for years, it’s just normal weather. Kind of in between overcast and cloudy and nice. Weird.

Thanks for the definition. Just flying to Michigan is hard on me, just three hours difference. 😊
