Welcome to the Sixth ICMPC. A photo challenge that encompasses in-camera movement for a creative look at photography. Rules are above under the ICMPC tab, and anyone is welcome to join in – just don’t forget to do a ping back.

This was one fast month and I already miss the cruise ship and water. I shot some ICM photos while on aboard and this set is of the water when I walked the deck at sunrise.

Below are the deck lights on the side of the boat. It almost looks like runway lights which had me in to share this for ICMPC.

This was the last night out to sea. You can see the waves/water in the below left-hand corner and the sun setting. It was cloudy and with the sun and the shoreline off in the distance they caught a bit of light. This was a very slight move of the wrist, but I think it went a little farther because the ship was moving.

As I leaned over the side, this was taken. It is dark but the contrast of the water makes up for that a bit with the blue/black background. All in all, I liked the way these turned out a bit more abstract than the trees.

I am looking forward to seeing your ICM photos again this month. I really like the creative photos we have had here. Last month the internet wasn’t too keen on the ship, but I hit land and now have that internet umbrella we all live under for a faster response to your pings.

I hope you all have been having fun with this challenge.

Til next time,

Kathleen Jennette

Kathleen, it took me a while to get caught up, but I just posted my ICMPC post. I really liked your use of the ocean for ICM this past month. I’ll have to keep that in mind for the next time I’m near the ocean. So, since I did not want to repeat a previous water ICM, I came up with a different source. Here’s the link:

Very creative on the diagonal brake lights! I love the movement the road can give back and you got it! Glad you got to join in, Thursday is the 7th round for another 30 days 🙂
