~ICMPC #9~October

Hello and Welcome to #9 of our ICMPC. A photo challenge that encompasses in-camera movement for a creative look at photography. Rules are above under the ICMPC tab. Anyone is welcome to join in. Don’t forget to do a ping back.

This was a quick one shot through the kitchen window and screen. When taking a look at it closer, I noticed it would better in black and white. I thought with the grainy-look of the screen texture the image looked more like an old photograph. Below is the before and after.

Before and After

I love the old photos, dirty and all, but maybe you favor the color? Let me know.

Thanks for joining in the 9th ICMPC here on Tales. If you join in, please don’t forget that ping back. The ping back is so that I know you have posted an ICM for the challenge here. Just leave it in the comment and everyone can get to it to check out your masterpiece.

Thanks again and until next time…

Excellent ICM with this lens! The softness marries beautifully with the movements and the colors. Never hearing of the Thingyfy lens, I am curious to try one…
Thank you for joining in on this month’s ICMPC!

Roland, this image is wonderful! The black background shows what can be done with the ICM arena. I very much like the photo’s creativeness! Thanks for joining in, it is always nice to get inspired 🙂

Kathleen, I really liked both photos through the window screen. The screen added a texture to augment the beauty of the ICM photo. Here’s my entry:

Lulu: “We don’t see much of a difference! Although our Dada says that’s because we don’t have good color vision … Anyway he likes the black and white one, he says it looks like a charcoal rubbing or something!”

I like that Lulu, thank you so much for asking Dada 😀

I like the color version, it just looks better. 😊

I like the way ICM photos are there for everyone. The muted colors did turn out different than what I wanted, but they seem to work too. Thank you John!

The black and white image appears more appealing to me than the color. Thanks, Kathleen Jennette. 🙂

Thank you, Nancy. The texture of the screen seemed to come out more and I seem to go there in layers. Thanks 🙂
