It is Monochrome Monday, and it is raining so until it clears my vision is from indoors. Here is my front patio in reflecting mode.

With a little dabble in Lightroom I like the way these two turned out. It reminds of the film days. Something I want to do again. I did buy film and repaired the Minolta, so I am ready to go. Just need to do it. *Procrastination isn’t a good thing*

I do love the rain and am glad it has arrived not all at once like last year. Although we have time yet to do so, a bit at a time is better for my plants and my worries. I can visualize that.
I hope your day is wonderful and full of Tales from your lens. Thanks for stopping in.
Til next time…

I love it!
Thank you:)
Java Bean: “Ayyy, puddles, fun to play in! We’ve got plenty of them at the moment since we got our rain for the year all at once here in San Diego …”
Oh I hope your paws are dry! we hear you all got hit hard with floods. You won’t be able to find your sticks and balls to play with 🙁
Rains definitely give a different character & mood to the scene. And the b&w elevated that character all together. Beautiful.
Thank you so much! Yes, I’m one of those that prefers the rain. I’ve been wanting a rain cover for the camera and I think it’s time. I appreciate your compliment.
The first pic has the most pleasing range of grays, blacks, and whites. Well done. 🙂
Thank you Nancy, it seems to have been that kind of day. 🙂
We had a gentle rain here for most of yesterday, and more rain is coming today. We really need it so no complaints from me, Kathleen Jennette. 😊
All night there. You will probably get this round then I think we are fine. The desert will be 🙂
The desert always needs rain, it’s gently raining just now according to the sound from the skylight in the living room. It’s good to be home where its warm and comfy. 😊❤️
